Terms & Policies
The aim of any consultation is to identify what you as the patient would like to change / alter / improve and then provide surgical or non-surgical solutions to help achieve the desired outcome.
There is no obligation to undergo treatments and any contract to be treated by myself is only after a full informed consent process has taken place alongside a cooling off period as recommended by the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons. This allows you to have all the information with all your questions answered on the procedures with likely outcomes, complications and aftercare all clear in your mind.
I am fully indemnified by PRASIS (Plastic,Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Indemnity Scheme) under the Medical Professional Indemnity Group.
As part of on-going clinical governance and revalidation, patient metrics may be used as data in projects, audits or research. Through General Data Protection Regulation, any data will also be made available to you if required.
As part of quality improvement, research, patient education and before and after images, clinical photography will be taken in all cases with your consent. All patient photos and quotations that appear on this website have consented for their images to be used in this way. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a Data Protection Officer allowing me to store patient data in a safe and secure way.
I am very open with all my patients and if there are any issues you wish to raise I will endeavour to address them promptly.
Any compliments or complaints should be directed to the BMI Woodlands teams so that we can document and hopefully resolve issues through the appropriate governance channels.
