Philosophy
The Details Matter
Being a Plastic Surgeon has allowed me to fulfil a lifelong goal of providing the highest quality care to all my patients. It’s a fascinating specialty that blends both the reconstructive challenges and complexities of oncological surgery as well as the artistic and psycological elements needed in aesthetic surgery.
The importance of appearance and how that forms a feeling of self is something that in the modern world cannot be quantified. We are individuals and positive changes in your life, be it through mindfulness, a change in philosophy, improved diet and exercise regimens or improved body confidence through non-surgical and surgical means are all positive steps that should be embraced.
Healthy Body Healthy Mind
I have been influenced throughout my life by a holistic approach to wellbeing. The science and technology of health and well-being works alongside more longstanding practices such as yoga, reflexology and aromatherapy.
Appreciation of art in all its form is central to my approach to aesthetic surgery. From drawing my own medical illustrations (all artwork in my website has been drawn by myself as is all the photography), cake decoration for my kid’s birthdays to playing and composing music - this shapes me as a surgeon but also grounds me as a person. Setting goals and achieving them is part of the journey of life and if I can help achieve some of your aims and personal goals, then the hard work and training was worth it.
Keeping an open mind and being open to change is a very positive and empowering state.
