Hand Surgery

Aside from offering a complete trauma service on the NHS at the University Hospital of North Durham, I offer elective hand surgery ranging from treatments for Dupuytren’s Disease, as well as release of carpal tunnel and trigger finger.

Skin Cancer

As the Lead Clinician for Skin Cancer for County Durham & Darlington Foundation Trust, I am at the forefront of leading and improving our skin cancer services across the county. I offer a complete package of treatments within my NHS practice from simple excision of skin lesions to minor reconstructions following excision as well as Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, parotid surgery and neck dissections with or without reconstructions. My specialist interests lie in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology and reconstruction. As a lead trainee in the Northern Deanery - ARCP and STC Member - training is at the centre of a lot of my surgical practice. I run a Skin Cancer Educational Day teaching up-to-date treatments/techniques including Dermoscopy and NICE Guidance.
